- Was awarded the Kim Il Sung Prize on the 20th anniversary of its opening in 1994.
- Located on a 90,000m2 plot of land, the buildings have an area of 60,000m2. The complex is four metres tall, and has a one floor basement. The complex is asymmetrical and composed of three buildings.
- Contains a 3,000 and 700 seat function rooms as well as a series of smaller ones.
